Land Rover / Range Rover Instrument Cluster Repairs

We are seeing a huge number of Instrument Clusters failing on Range Rover Sport, Range Rover Vogue, Range Rover L322, and Discovery 3 models, all clusters that look like the one above, it seems that they are all failing due to component failure due to the age of the components and poor build quality.

Symptoms of Instrument Cluster Failure include the following

  • Temperature gauge showing maximum and warning light on
  • Transmission Fault Message
  • Suspension Fault Message
  • Hill Descent Control failure
  • Warning Lights going on and off
  • Rev Counter stops working
  • Warning lights appearing for features not on the vehicle
  • Doors Locking and Unlocking on their own
  • Hazard Lights Flashing and cant turn them off
  • Vehicle wont restart or crank if you turn it off
  • Intermittent Non-Start

Caution, some of these warnings CAN be caused by other faults on the vehicle, so it important for us to complete a vehicle scan before carrying out any work.

We are repairing these clusters on a daily basis

We are able to fix all of the above problems at component level and even replace memory and processors if necessary.

You can bring your vehicle to our workshop by appointment where we offer a while you wait service including removal and refitting of the instrument cluster from your vehicle. It is often necessary to update the software in the instrument cluster to fix some of the symptoms, we do all this in our workshop with Genuine Land Rover SDD Diagnostics Equipment, many customers request that we carry out a full vehicle software update to bring the car up to date at the same time which includes many bug-fixes that the manufacturer has corrected.

Call us on 01442 601028 to book your car into our workshop and we will take care of the rest.
